Robin started his fan film endeavours in 2005, when Fan Trek Productions recruited him at the Screenheroes convention in Utrecht. He was director at the principal photography session of These are the Voyages..., and later helped out on editing and recreating additional material for the episode. For "Nightfall", aside from playing a supporting role as ensign George Richman, Robin is active in the technical department, and occasionally performs camera, lighting and direction of photography duties. He also provides occasional creative consultancy.

In 2007, Robin became a board member of the Dutch Time Travellers Association and eventually started the fan film project Time Ripples.

Personal Life

Currently, Robin is a Bachelor's degree student at the Eindhoven University of Technology, in the field of Electrical Engineering. He is planning to do a follow-up Master's degree of Aerospace Engineering in the near future.

Robin currently resides in Eindhoven, and is a frequent convention visitor in the Dutch fan scene. He is in the process of starting up an audiovisual production company called Journeyman Entertainment, and works as a tech volunteer in the Temporary Art Centre in Eindhoven.
