Could be a good starting point, but I actually want to make this a bit of a guideline on "how to make a script" going from initial idea down to the finished product. After all, a script or screenplay only defines character-based interactions, and does not define any major storyline events. Although a good script should do that -- if you read through a properly written script the episode video should be almost trivial. A good test of an episode running time is a silent read-through -- if you finish reading the script in 45 minutes, the episode should last just as long. A beat sheet is a good starting point for defining the outline of an episode (a framework) and for pitching your idea at production companies. Stoney3k 23:31, 29 July 2007 (CEST)
